I saw some rhubarb at a farmers' market in San Fran this weekend and I so badly wanted to buy it. I'm not sure it would have survived a week without refrigeration, however. As are my friends and family who had the good fortune to join me for brunch. They raved and then demanded the recipe. (My mom was muttering about harvesting some of her rhubarb to try that version.)<br/><br/>Such a delightful combination of sweet berries, moist coffee cake and crunchy crumbs. I'm the person who usually doubles crumb toppings, but this was the perfect ratio.<br/><br/>My only issue is that I run out by Tuesday and have to resort to other breakfasts until the next Saturday when I have the time to make more! Such a delightful combination of sweet berries, moist coffee cake and crunchy crumbs. I’m the person who usually doubles crumb toppings, but this was the perfect ratio.

My only issue is that I run out by Tuesday and have to resort to other breakfasts until the next Saturday when I have the time to make more!
