Where buttermilk and sherry vinegar are revered, fussing is sometimes allowed, and everything tastes better with an egg on top.

GrowItGreen — Do you favor a particular gelato recipe? I still haven't perfected my gelato. Also, I could reach the article you referenced. Is there another link?

I love gelato, but it is difficult to find a shop that makes it in my small town in S.C. so, I have to make it myself when I get a craving. I appreciate all of the recipes I can get my hands on. Check out this "cool" article about gelato at www.foodista.com

Hey Ali- You were in my neighborhood! I live quite close to Chinos. It's fun to go there once in a while. Pricy, but good quality stuff.

I had to laugh at your goat's milk experiment on your hubby. I do similar things.

I know what you mean too about the strength of rosemary flavor. I made some rosemary butter cookies last Christmas. Those with just a touch of rosemary in them were much better than those that were loaded :)

I bet when he said "french strawberries" he was referring to Mara des Bois. Wicked Wilds (http://www.wickedwilds.com/products.htm) in Solana Beach grows them as well.
