Where buttermilk and sherry vinegar are revered, fussing is sometimes allowed, and everything tastes better with an egg on top.

LVH — I'll be so curious to hear how you like the sauces. They are insanely hot, as I'm sure you gathered from the post. I need to contact James myself for a few of these bottles.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thanks to your recommendation I ordered three of these hot sauces (Original, Lemon Pepper and Dark Roast) for my father, a real pepper-head. (James is apparently reworking the Cilantro recipe, so it's temporarily unavailable.)

We haven't had a chance to try them yet, (I'll have to report back once we do), but I can tell you that working with James to pick out the right sauces and complete my order was an absolute pleasure.

I'm really looking forward to the combination of flavor and heat.

Thanks for pointing out this gem!

I received a bottle of Pica's Lemon Pepper hot sauce from a friend, who said he got it from his job.

My Experience-- After tasting Pica's sauce, boy did I learn a lesson. For many years companies have been giving us what they call hot sauce... But this hot sauce is really HOT SAUCE that tastes great, I never had any sauce like it, it is the BEST sauce on earth. I asked my friend to purchase some more of these sauces, but they told me they no longer work for the company, I didn't know how to obtain another bottle, so I lucked out when I googled Pica Peppers and found this blog, where I quickly recognized those bottles. I am eagerly awaiting for the website to come up. I already have my gifts for Christmas in mind, ha ha ha. - Joe Passantino

Eeeek! Beautiful bottles, I agree, but I'm going to stay far away from those sauces. I am a WIMP.

In fact, once at a Thai restaurant in Swarthmore, a friend laughed when he saw the bill. It literally had a note under my dish, 'as mild as possible'!
